Transactor Open Market Rating - Impressive Growth Continues in 2007
Market leading intermediary Adrian Flux Group began live trading on Transactor in non-standard and standard UK private motor just prior to Christmas, 2006. Over the course of the last few weeks, additional users have been put live on the system, so that at the time of writing, just over a third of the call-centre and administration staff are on the new system. The motor cycle side of AFG’s business went live on Transactor in January 2006. In addition to this Heath Lambert went live on Transactor private motor (call-centre and website) in Q4 2006.
Across it’s client base, TGSL now has over 130 private motor Open Market Rating (‘OMR’) products built for its revolutionary ‘RoadRisk’ quotation system, the market’s only fully XML based solution. Of these, 62 are signed off for Full Cycle EDI, with products available from Capricorn, HSBC, Hastings, CCUA, Service, Ensign, Equity Red Star, Highway, Jubilee, KGM, Kinetic, Markerstudy, NIG, Norwich Union, Provident, and Royal Sun Alliance. TGSL has completed product builds for AXA, Chaucer, Fortis, Groupama, Allianz Cornhill, Link, MMA, Sabre, and Zenith, and awaits completion of insurer testing for a Quarter One 2007 sign off.
In addition, a further 124 Delegated Authority schemes have been built and signed off for Capricorn, CCUA, Chaucer, Corinthian, Ensign, ERS, Highway, Jubilee, KGM, Kinetic, Link, Marker study, NIG, RSA, Sabre, and Service.
The entire panel of over 250 is a combination of Polaris and TGSL schemes. TGSL use the Polaris XML RTE, and a brand new toolset called the XML Outcome to produce quotes in less than 5 seconds on its standard Windows and .Net architecture. ‘We can get the quotes processed in under two seconds’, confirms TGSL’s Joe Gardner, ‘but these days a modern call-centre needs a lot more than that and during our quote time we also produce thousands of payment plan options, whilst also performing various other payment and credit related functions that mean Transactor users can complete the business at the push of a button post-quote, shaving several minutes off of a legacy systems best time overall.’
