Burnett & Associates Live On Transactor

Winchester, England, June 10th 2005.  In November 2004 Transactor Global Solutions Limited ('TGSL') was awarded a contract to supply its Transactor general insurance contact-centre and e-business solution to Burnett & Associates.   The first phase of the implementation went live on June 10th 2005.  Transactor will be used in the call-handling area, policy administration and accounts, and claims management, including external relationship management.

Burnett & Associates was founded in 1980 as an Insurance Brokerage in the general insurance field, but with a speciality in Computer Maintenance Insurance, which the company pioneered.  Over two decades it has continued to develop insurance and associated support contracts for computers and related information technology equipment, and is now the UK market leader in this sector.  Burnett & Associates offer one of the United Kingdom's widest and most flexible solutions for hardware maintenance, warranties, conventional theft and accidental damage insurance, network support, and even installation and cabling.

"In order to provide the levels of support required by today's complex IT infrastructures we have developed contractual relationships with many specialist repairers and support companies, together with recognised and independent insurance backing to provide a financially secure and flexible alternative to the traditional manufacturer or third party support companies," explains Garry Moore, Managing Director, Burnett & Associates. The Transactor system was selected because it has very comprehensive claims management functionality, combined with a great front office and back office accounts package. It is a solution that will enable us to grow our business.

Allison Spampinato, Office Manager, Burnett & Associates, confirmed that " I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism and expertise of our Transactor implementation team, particularly with regard to my TGSL project manager, Pam Bradley who supervised a great job on the data conversion, and the business analysis around the claims and accounts area.
