TGSL Expands With Nine New Contracts

Winchester, United Kingdom, March 2008. Transactor Global Solutions (‘TGSL’) is delighted to announce that nine new customers have signed multi-year contracts for its Transactor solution in the past 16 weeks. “None of the orders concerned are upgrades, they are all new,” confirms Ray Vincent, Managing Director, TGSL. “Such has been the level of interest in Transactor and its functionality, architecture, scalability and track record that all the businesses concerned had no hesitation in creating a partnership with TGSL. We just let the software do the talking once we got ourselves in front of them”.

Some of the new clients have opted for a fully managed and hosted solution, monitored twenty four hours a day, and seven days a week by TGSL and supported by a full disaster recovery programme. “We do not want to be proscriptive however,” continues Vincent, “and prefer to offer our clients choice. If they want to self install, or self operate, we empower this too.”

Tony Withers, Business Development Manager, TGSL commented, "With the significant reduction in the cost of infrastructure and connectivity over the last few years, we see it as a choice for the broker concerned as to how they deploy their technology. Our entirely Microsoft focused architecture, centred around a core SQL2005 database and Windows .Net based applications, is highly affordable and flexible. Because we are not hampered by legacy software, we can let intermediaries outsource their technology, or keep it in house, changing their minds as it suits them thanks to flexible contracts."

Most of the new orders remain subject to non-disclosure until after live date. “We can confirm that there is a very diverse range of clients for this current round of new business however”, continues Tony Withers. “The two we can currently talk about are Freeway Northwest and Hamilton Fraser. Besides that there are three more out-and-out motor brokers, a medium to high net worth property broker, and a sports insurance specialist. The other two are dead giveaways if we so much as mention the classes of business they do so we will keep quiet about these in their entirety. However, the current new business order book contains examples of all classes of general insurance from cosmetic surgery to commercial vehicle, and speaks volumes about Transactor’s versatility.”

“Our superior system functionality gives all our clients peace of mind knowing they are in the hands of people who actually know how to write software, and service it,” concludes Ray Vincent.
