Partner Program Membership Continues To Expand
Winchester, United Kingdom, March 2008. TGSL has always recognised that some peripheral but vital business processing activities are best handled by third party applications, such as QAS and Servebase. With our ever increasing user numbers, we also recognise the need to offer our clients maximum flexibility and choice over who provides these services, which has resulted in our establishing additional relationships with Premium Credit, Capscan, Eiger Systems, Adlib Software and Microgen to name a few.
“Establishing relationships with new third party application providers is probably easier for TGSL than some of our competitors because Transactor is a Microsoft .Net and SQL Server based solution and therefore very straightforward to integrate with” comments Steve Young, Commercial Director, TGSL. “Many of our competitors are still running with legacy systems, albeit sometimes with a Windows front-end to make them at least appear slightly more up to date, which inevitably makes integration far more complex and costly for all parties. The ease with which a third party application can be integrated with Transactor also means our clients can usually use the most up to date versions of their chosen third party applications, which again is where our competitors’ reliance on legacy systems can put their users at a disadvantage.”
Premium Credit Integration
Premium Credit Limited (‘PCL’) is a classic example of how TGSL applies itself to third party integration. After more than a year since its initial implementation at one of Transactor’s major client sites, the XML integration with Premium Credit is proving to be a very efficient means with which to transact business with Finance Companies.
“Using XML submissions to Premium Credit on a transactional basis allows the broker to view the submissions on Premium Credits PLaSMA website within 10 minutes of the client accepting the finance option for their policy, which is a major benefit for any administration department,” explains Simon Shayler, Senior Project Manager, TGSL. “The validation around these XML messages flags problems while the operator still has the client on the phone so problems with bank details and sort codes can be resolved immediately before the message is submitted to Premium Credit.”
“Another major plus of doing the integration thoroughly is highlighted by the automated reconciliation process of the PCL statement with the Transactor broker’s database,” continues Simon Shayler. “This saves Transactor clients the many man days of effort required to manually reconcile the items.”
Premium Credit is continuing to enhance its offering with additional development on real time error messages and client data lookup, which allows the viewing of data without the need to login to PLaSMA. Transactor clients will be among the very first to make full use of these enhancements in the future.
