KwikFit Select Transactor Website For Household
Fareham, England, September 2004. KwikFit Insurance Service Limited (‘KFIS’) has placed an order with Transactor Global Solutions Limited (‘TGSL’) for a household insurance website. This follows a long association between the two businesses, where TGSL has been providing the household insurance call-centre solution for a number of years.
Following a period of rapid growth in the household business written by KFIS, the new website will initially provide ‘quote and buy’ facilities in order to build on this success. TGSL’s adoption of Microsoft .Net in the early days of the new architecture means that it is able to offer robust and proven database models, components, and toolsets that are equally at home in the call-centre, and the website. This drives costs out of the implementation, and greater efficiencies for the user in managing both ‘worlds’ from the same investment in licenses and skill sets. The website will support the same panel of insurers and products as the current call-centre implementation.
