EcoMail Module To Be Enhanced With 'Texting' Capability
Winchester, September 18 th 2006. Transactor Global Solutions (‘TGSL’) class leading Exchange Server integration module ‘EcoMail’ is having a significant impact on service and costs on Transactor sites the length and breadth of the UK. Work is now underway to further enhance EcoMail with the addition of ‘text’ output so that Transactor clients can automate the process of ‘texting’ clients using Microsoft Exchange Server and ASP.NET mobile controls, an extension to the .NET Framework and ASP.NET that allows developers to write mobile Web applications targeting multiple devices such as cell phones and PDA’s.
‘TGSL’s new integrated SMS facilities are a natural enhancement to the already impressive range of automated document, PDF, and email services already available to Transactor users via EcoMail’, comments Ray Vincent, Managing Director. ‘Users will be able to set up their text messages using the Microsoft Word plug-in developed by TGSL known as Document Manager. They can then set up events and triggers using toolsets they are already familiar with that will automatically output a text message to their customers, or ‘bulk’ text groups of clients for marketing purposes. This will be an ideal way to manage parts of the renewal process, claims management, cross selling, and so on. Our users will think of many more uses than we can, our role is to empower and enable.’
