Training

Bringing expertise and confidence to Transactor insurance software users

All customers are different and TGSL have a flexible approach to the training programme which is agreed at the Scope phase and forms an inclusive part of the project costs. Typical training approaches for the insurance software application and system are shown below.

Train the Trainer

This consists of one-on-one training with the expectation that the trainee will go away and train their colleagues. This is quite a common approach and results in the customer site having their own in-house Transactor Insurance Software expert who can advise the rest of the users as and when they need guidance on any area of the system.

Classroom Style

TGSL offers classroom style training where required. There is normally a maximum of 6 attendees and sometimes covers mixed groups where customers send a delegate. Training handouts for the insurance software solution suite are provided and where the group is mixed, the session would take place at TGSL offices. Where the classroom training is for one customer only, it can be carried out at TGSL offices or onsite.

Skills Transfer

This type of training is carried out ‘on the job’ where TGSL are onsite (or the client is at TGSL offices) and working alongside the customer in order to achieve the desired outcome. This would normally take place for tasks such as scheme building or insurance software system configuration where heavy use of the tool sets is required.

Telephone Training

For any queries that may arise outside of formal training, the project managers or members of the support desk/testing team are available to assist the client.
